Extension and renovation of a riverside family home featuring black mirrored glass. The roof is formed using energy efficient triple glazing panels to reduce overheating to the south-facing extension.  Slim framed black aluminium sliding doors maximise daylight and views of the garden which as been extended and landscaped with the addition of a new water feature and fish pond.

 

This is currently close to completion and should be ready mid. July 2020.   Stay tuned for completed photographs.  This was a project that I worked on during my time with my previous employers, HollandGreen.

'Steve was pivotal to the success of our project.  He did a great job securing planning permission for our major house renovation in a conservation area. He fulfilled every aspect of the brief, which included increasing the ground floor footprint with an infill extension, whilst maintaining the character of the Victorian property with a seamless transition between old and new.  The project had a number of complications due to it's basement cellar, and having no rear or side access.  Steve has a wealth of technical expertise and he overcame these constraints with ease, working closely with the Structural & Temporary Works Engineers and Main Contractor to overcome the numerous issues. From planning through to construction and handover Steve was very much hands-on with a pro-active approach to all aspects of the project including the contract administration, adding value through good design and efficiency.'
