Traditional new build house and garage in West Cork.

 

The clients wanted a simple form traditional vernacular style farmhouse with a detached garage for additional storage, workshop, etc.  The plot is set in open grassland at the foot of beautiful tree lined hills to the North.  The front of the house faces due south so a conservatory was added to the side elevation with wraparound glazing to avail of the stunning views and solar gain.  A natural stone bridged entrance spans over a boulder-lined stream which was lovingly treated by the owners.
